Fourth Annual Asia Pacific Screen Awards: 2010 Dates Announced More...

 

THE JURY

To enter your film in the 2009 Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA) you will require a password. Passwords may only be issued to appropriate representatives. Independent submissions are not accepted.* (Please refer to the note below)

• Official Submission Organisations: Each country or area of the Asia-Pacific region has an Official Submission Organisation whose responsibility is to view and select films to represent their country for competition in the APSAs. (To obtain details of the Official Submission Organisation in your country or area, please contact the APSA Film Department at films@apscreenawards.com or telephone +61 7 3222 1010.)

• Invited Filmmakers: Filmmakers who have been personally invited by the APSA Nominations Council or APSA Chairman will be provided with a password to enter their films.

Independent Submissions*

• Passwords may only be issued to Official Submission Organisations and those filmmakers personally invited to submit films by the APSA Nominations Council or the APSA Chairman. Independent submissions will only be considered under special circumstances and on a case-by-case basis.

• Should prevailing conditions within a country have prevented a film from being screened in that country or internationally, APSA reserves the right to make special dispensation to invite the film. However applicants will be required to provide background information in regards to this sanction.
